Thank you for your continued support of zaico. We are pleased to announce the revision of the service content and the fee plans of zaico.
Since the launch of the service, about 150,000 users have used our service. We have continued to add and improve features based on the feedback and requests we have received from these users. We appreciate all the voices of yours.
Inventory management, which requires accurately obtaining status of items as well as placing orders in appropriate quantities and at appropriate times in response to changing conditions, is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task.
Front-line workers are suffering from the increase in time and load involved in this task. At the same time, the increased cost and the loss of sales opportunities which lead to a decline in profits are big problems for the managers.
Since its inception, ZAICO has developed features to solve such problems as below examples:-
- Development of mobile applications that can be easily used by anyone, regardless of age or gender
- Loading/Unloading scan function for quick and error-free operation
- Order point alert function to inform the timing of order placement
- Receiving/Delivering data and change history functions that are useful for forecasting future demand
- Invention of ZAICON, an IoT weight scale
Now, we will start connecting with external systems such as EC centralized management tools, POS cash register systems, and ordering systems, and so on.
That will enable us to track inventory more accurately in real time with less hassle than ever before.
Three Key Points of New Plan
Easier to collaborate with multiple people
Multiple additional users are included in the basic plan so that you can experience the advantage of zaico by sharing the inventory data in real time with multiple people.
More appropriate order placement for the situation
In order to properly determine the quantity and timing of orders and to prevent shortages and excess inventory, functions such as aggregation of the same items across multiple locations, future inventory quantity that take into account the receive and delivery data, and order point alerts based on the future inventory quantity, etc. are now available.
Easy import of sales data from EC and POS systems
For those who have multiple sales channels, such as online stores and brick-and-mortar stores, zaico will be linked to centralized EC management systems and POS cash register systems so that inventory counts can be more accurately updated.
This enables “updating inventory counts in zaico using sales data in external systems” and “reflecting inventory counts in zaico to online stores’ counts”.

Transition Steps
- Those on paid plans as of March 31, 2023 will be able to use the pre-revised rates and plans until August 31, 2023.
- From August 2, 2023 to August 31, 2023, all new plans will be available for trial at the pre-revised rates.
- On August 2, 2023, the current plan will automatically switch to the new plan’s trial mode, as below diagram.
- After the switch to the new plan trial mode on August 2, 2023, you can try other new plans without additional fee.
- The plan in trial use as of August 31, 2023 will be the one you sign up for in September 2023.
Required Action
Please select the plan to be applied for September 2023 by 11:59 pm August 31st, 2023 (Japan time, GMT+9).
| Example) If you are currently using Entry plan, Minimum trial plan is applied automatically on August 2nd. If you switch to Light trial plan and continue using it as of August 31st, 2023, you will sign up for Light plan in September 2023. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: If I subscribe to a paid plan on March 31, 2023, is the pre-revision price and plan available until August 31, 2023?
A: Yes. If you sign up for a paid plan on March 31, 2023 and continue the contract, the pre-revision rate and plan will be applied until August 31, 2023.
Q: If I subscribe to a paid plan on March 31, 2023 and I cancel it (turn off auto-renewal), can I use the pre-revision plan at the pre-revision rate when I resume before August 31, 2023?
A: No. The pre-revision plan and rate are available only if you continue the contract until August 31st, 2023. Once you cancel (turn off auto-renewal) after March 31st, 2023, only the revised plan and price can be applied.
Q: I am using the Standard Plan with 4 additional users. What are the contract details if the same number of people use the Lite Plan?
A：Light Plan (including 1 initial user and 2 additional users) + 2 additional users
= 9,800 yen + (1,500 yen x 2 users) = 12,800 yen
Q: If I am on the Standard Free Trial Plan as of March 31, 2023, which plan will apply from April 1, 2023?
A: You will switch to the Lite Free Trial Plan. The free trial period that remains as of April 1, 2023 will continue to apply. After the free trial period ends, you will be able to choose a new plan.
Q: If I have a paid plan subscription on March 31, 2023 and want to sign up for a new plan by August 31, 2023, what should I do?
A：Please cancel (turn off auto-renewal) your pre-revision plan. The new plan will be available for selection on the paid plan list screen.
